Although I gotta agree with him on some points...Riding on one wheel @ 80mph in traffic: stupid.
I agree with that. What I DISAGREE with is someone writing that they'd like to open their doors on lanesplitters.... Lane splitting is legal in many states. People are impressionable. By him saying he'd LIKE to open his doors on these riders, there are dozens of people who probably WILL. :nonod:

Some idiot did this on a radio show on the left side and got a lot of grief over it. Funny thing is, Splitting is legal in his state and he didn't even know.

I know allot don't ride safe and or show respect for other motorist but its not all of us.

But even those who ride unsafely don't deserve to have some vigilante journalist open a door on them. Natural selection does it's part to weed out those who continue to ride unsafely, and cops do their part as well.

unfortunately, i have to admit that at times the thought has crossed my mind:nonod: but I would never actually DO IT!! and especially now after riding a bike I am always very aware of bikes...but road rage is very prevalent, and while I dont agree with ever doing anything that could harm someone like that, after 2 hours sitting in non moving traffic:cursin: , i know where the thought is coming from...

:iagree: completely, that was exactly what I was thinking as I read the article, he is stereotyping riders, I am more careful on my bike than in my car and I would never do anything unsafe if there was traffic around...nor would my friends who do stunts...they always ensure there is no one around before doing anything!

That guy is a un-educated moron. Plain and simple. Its just sad that he actually has a avenue to voice his self rightgous moronic ideas.

As far as lane spliting. I did it regularely on my sportbike. On the chopper... I don't think so.

Riding up the shoulder in a traffic jam... always have, always will!

Nope... just enough to get thru it faster so I'm not breathing down all those exhaust fumes and over heating my motor.

Up the shoulder... at like 15-20mph..
