it is so ajetating i am so close to gettin one i just have about 2 3 weeks then i can get one but i need to make the decision and i have narowed it down to these (until i find a new one to ask about)
I have never ridden the GS but if its a diff of 2HP.. it will be a difference on a bike so light, but minimal..... Neither of em is ognna touch a older 600 with a decent rider.... However modify each and they will get decent.... they are bikes capable of wheeliing off the line, and for riding wheelies if u get comfy on it. The difference is prob small enough to go to goign for what u htink looks better...the GS, but the EX500 is lighter and more powerful....So just decide looks or performance. But the SV650 will still be much more powerful then the 500's fully modified, but its not so much its hard ot deal with, it wont wheelie without really pinning the throttle till u mod it and thatyll take ya some time.. My vote still goes SV for a bike u cna stay enjoying longer, plus better resale value if u up the displacement later. but if u go 500 then go with looks as performance margin is minimal between the two.
well unless my mom helps out with the payments the sv is kinda out of the question and i whant the bike to be MINE and not somethin that she can say she helped on you know what i meen :dthumb: so if you were buying a bike and you had those two to choose from what one would you pick
i love kawi but i am going to have to say that the new gs500f is probably the nicest 500 ever made, as far as looks. personal opinion buy and older 600, unless you are trully just starting out on a bike
i dont know how to put up pics but here is the website http://www.suzukicycles.com/Products/GS500FK5/Default.aspx i would get the black one if i got this bike :dthumb: or go to kawasaki.com and look at the nija if you need a pic of that (everyone has seen a ninja) but i like looks wise the gsf buti know that the ninja is better performance so i am just curious is the performacne worth more then the looks at this cc level ???
Prior to this year.. i woulda said 500R all the way, but this year if i was looking for eithero ne new,...,,, id say GS.....
At the 500cc 4stroke level looks... then go performance later hwen u cna afofrd it and got some miles under the belt. U cna rie with a new 600 and still lok cool on a GS.... mine looks like a crap pile cuz ive never fixed it when it went down.... but its a commuter bike these days for gas prices and maintance costs...rock enigne... but id be owning my first Zuk if i bought a 500 tomorrow.
