But forget all that, he BLEW by a cop on the left shoulder at about 170 or so. About 30 sec mark in the vid.

Well, that portion of the vid is used as a clip in many compalation videos on the net. As soon as I seen it, I recoganized it!

There was a couple of insane moves but, it just shows how fast the cages can get in your way.
They probably didn't know he was there until he already passed.

From the short lengths of shifts I would say it was geared way low.
Top speed may have got to 165mph real speed.

speedometer error!
First of all, most bikes speedmeter are only accurate up to around 70mph.
New digital are way better than the older stuff.
Second, when you gear down a bike to make it pull harder it will increase the indicated speed.
How much depends on how much gearing.
