I know Kats are notoriously cold blooded and can be a bit tempermental after sitting for awhile. If im out riding, its perfect, never gives me a bit of trouble..If I stop for gas, or a pack of smokes, or even at a restaurant, she fires right back up, no problems. But after sitting for several hours or overnight, especially when its colder out in the morning, it takes quite a while to get her started, like atleast a good 15 cranks of the starter. Im thinking it could be faulty plugs, but they were supposed to have been changed when i bought the bike about 4 months ago or so, although I havent verified that..but they could be bad or just cheap, maybe not gapped right? Or could it be something in the fuel lines? I've tried leaving it on prime for like 30 seconds, and then start, still the same..tried to choke, still the same. I can see the choke cable move when I engage it, so as far as I can tell, its not a faulty cable or improperly hooked up.
Any suggestions?
