Just got registered for the site. Kaysville Utah. Recently purchased a 99 R6, custom paint job, vance & hines pipe, mostly stock. First bike was a 2000 CBR600 F4, dead stock. I'm really enjoying the R6. Seems to be a lot lighter to me. I need to buy a new chain and will probably change the sprocket(s) while I'm in there. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site. I know where Kaysville is, I've been there a few times. I used to live up in Ogden when I was in the Air Force. Man, I sure miss Utah. It was beautiful out there.

Anyway, I don't have any experience with chains, but I ran a search and came up with this thread: http://www.twowheelforum.com/showthread.php?t=2044&highlight=chain

I hope it helps. Oh, and I'm also an R6 owner. I just bought a new 2005.

Yeah, I heard Twisty tried that once when on a tight budget and it didn't work very well for him... :redevil:

Welcome! Weve had many chain conversations so you should find everything you want. Hows Utah this year? I was a liftie 99-00 @ snowbird and loved that utah powder. Met some of you Kaysville people too. :D

Thanks for the warm welcome. Speaking of warm, that's what we need here in Utah. The bike's in the shed because it's soo cold!! I'm dying for some warmer weather.

Well, since it's too cold to ride, I guess I just have to start doing mods to the bike. Anyone know what it takes to put nitrous on a carbureted motorcycle?
