Hockey is broken, plain and simple. Both sides are being stubborn, but hockey can't continue to lose money. The irony of the situation is that the owners want a hard cap to cut their losses. Yet, they lock out their players. Lesser of two evils? Maybe, but it's not good for the game.
It's [potentially] good for the business long term, but not the game. Unfortunately the fans are only involved in half of that equation.
