im 6'6'' tall 260lbs (in good shape thought) and wear size16 shoes. anyone know where i can get 3xl helmet and big boots and good gear (i like icon) i have also seen some gpstar gear on ebay i like. i am gonna get new helmet jacket maybe boots and maybe gloves. black and silver. the color of my busa.

i ordered icon stuff, and i don't see how someone who is 6'6 can have a jacket that fits (heightwise)... i don't think they make 3x helmets. i love the designs though...

Firstgear makes jackets as large as 4XL, and also have them in "tall" versions. I am also a big guy. I'm about 6'4"+ and around 250 (depending on what I had for breakfast:drool: ) I have one of their Mesh Tex II Jackets (2XL fits me great), and would highly recommend it. You're in NC so warm weather is coming. One of their mesh jackets (either textile or leather) would be great in the summer heat. I've ridden in 100+degree Alabama heat and as long as I was moving I was comfortable.

Pants on the other had, I have had a hard time finding a set that fit exactly how I would like. But most are adjustable and are close enough...

biggallemore, You are not alone...trust me. Actually, you are going to find that there is a lot more becoming available for guys your size. As far as helmets, there are a few manufacturers who are going with larger sizes (AFX goes all the way up to a 4X), and with gear, you may want to look at Teknic...they make really nice gear and it comes in larger sizes. ICON does have some larger stuff, but I will tell you from experience that their stuff tends to run small, so you may run into issues. We're starting to see more and more manufacturer's coming out with products for larger guys...now hopefully we'll start to see more stuff for women!!! Good luck!

ordered helmet

hjc makes 3xl helmets. ordered it to the local dealer whom i do all business with. should be here in the next couple days. 1 of the service techs is a big guy and toured a bike almost identical to mine and said he wore icon and that this years product should be a lil bigger in size. i plan on ordering like a size 54 to see if that will fit. but what about boots? anyone got ideas there? makes me kinda nervous riding with just adidas shoes on. your feet are pretty delicate part of your body.
