I've got a friend who's trying to unload a couple of his bikes. He doesn't know what they're worth and has looked at cycle trader, EBay and the classifieds, but there aren't many out there... so he says.

He's trying to sell a 2002 ZX6R with 1200 miles and a 2003 Hayabusa with 9000 miles. They're stock, nothing special and never dropped.

Any ideas on how to price these?

KBB would be a good base to start. But the best way to sell fast and get good money is look at a compairable market. Go back to e-bay and find the going price on the similer type bikes. A good deal will always prevail. :2cents:

In a nut shell, Maybe you could introduce "your friend" to a cycle forum and he can see the General Idea for himself. If I come across any links I will post it. Here is one to refere Him to to get started. Check this link out and let us know how you feel.

:iagree: This would be the best approach. Also compare the kbb value to the similar bikes found to get an even better idea of the market price. It can be hard to get Blue Book sometimes.

If the bike has any extra parts such as after market exhaust and so forth. These parts don't really do anything for the value unless the buyer is looking for the same mods.

NADA would be the best place to look... however, I would say they would be worth the top end of the price range for those years!

Oh and Earl...that was some funny crap!
