Simple arm out usually. If I'm busy/distracted, the head nod is all they get.

<hijack>I'd heard there are specific signals for cops ahead, but didn't really understand them. Are tapping the top of your helmet or moving your hand up and down common? What else is out there?</hijack>

arm out, but down towards the ground so as not to confuse with a Left turn hand motion...usually will give them the Peace sign too.

I usually ride right at them and see how soon they back off.. Puss*es.. lol...

If they are lucky I beotch slap them as I go by.. Take that beotch..

Seriously though it is a quick wave therefore not construed as a left turn. Usually higher than my left turn signal. Otherwise I just crack the throttle open with the clutch in and they get the picture...

Who signals when changing lanes??? I signal if I see a cop, or if they cars are too close where I can't sweeze in, like at a light so maybe they'll let me in...

anyway, I just extend arm straight out with 2 fingers.
