With out getting on gas much, K1200RS gets about 32 MPG of combined freeway, city driving.ShanMan14 said:Interestingly, on my Zook it doesn't matter if I'm doing city or highway miles, I get the same mileage.
Alot of your gas mileage depends of course on how your riding, and what kind you are doing..assuming your ride is mechanically sound as far as you know. My buddy has a 2000 Gixxer750..and he got 100 miles on it, and his light came on! I was like, WTF!! talk about hitting it hard between the stop lights :shock:ShanMan14 said:I've got 180 kilometers on this tank and the light went on yesterday :bonk: . I should be good for another 50 before it comes on, hope something isn't wrong. :nonod:
I hear you there. Riding easy and with another rider I pushed it to almost 100 miles when I was first riding. Now I try to put gas in every 50 miles or so. No damn gauge so I'm paranoid about running out. Plus, if you fill the darn thing you end up wearing most of it so I fill it less but more often. Man I can't wait to get a new bike. This one has taught me well, but I miss the luxuries that 'newness' can offer.Need4Speed750 said:My 1983 Yamaha Maxim, 650 with a 900 kit, only gets about 80 miles to a tank..i ride it hard, granted, but that mileage really sux...
