How it all began for me

HI guys,
I'm 39 yrs old and I took the MSF class last August in Hagerstown, Md. I've NEVER ridden a bike in my life but I always loved sportbikes. I always watch MOTOGP, ISLE OF MAN TT, etc. After the class, I end up being the Top Finisher. I couldn't believe it myself because I tried not to watch other people during the riding part of the test. My wife was even with me that last day to watch me. I love her and this is why. She's always been very supportive of me. Here's the best part. When I got my first bike (a used '01 R1) she was the one who went to MVA to get the tag so I can ride the next day (my dayoff). You know what? I NEVER really had any problem with my bike. I got up at 4:40 that morning because I was so anxious to ride it. I rode it around the block for about 10 minutes to get used to it. At 5:00am, I was on I270 heading towards Washington DC. I rode for over 100 miles that morning. Could have been more if I didn't have a doctor's appointment. to this day, I have ridden it for over 4,000 miles with no problem. I ride at night, I rode it a couple of days ago when it was really windy, I guess I just absolutely LOVE riding. This is a dream come true for me. Now I know what it's like when they say "there's nothing like it". I love your world. Question, how do you upload a photo in this section? I'd like to show you guys my ride. thanks.

Wow you are REALLY close-by to me. As a matter of fact, I'm in Hagerstown about 3-4 days a week. Im just on the other side of the Mason-Dixon, about 20 mins from Hagerstown. Anyways, congratulations on realizing one of your greatest "to-do's". It is a great experience and not one that everybody has the chance to take. Its always great to see some older (not that kind of old) guys taking a liking to sportbikes. Its all too often that you find a group of idiot kids riding, that dont take the time to learn, let alone ride safely.

Anyways, when you are in the screen where you type your message, you can do 2 things. First, if the pics are on your hard drive, just scroll down to 'manage attachments' and add the photos there straight from your drive. If you have them hosted by an online service, click on the icon in the toolbar above the message box that has a mountain inside of it. This is the insert image icon. Then enter the URL of where the picture is located in the box that appears, and click OK. Bada bing bada boom! Lets see that bike!

None the less, Germantown isnt too far away even still. I figured that was the case seeing as how the MSF center is here. Anyways, get some pics up!

And DAMN what a ride to Niagara. Ive been many times, and thats no short trip. Takes us about 7-8 hours to get to Niagara, Canada side. I mean maybe 1 way in 1 day, but up AND back in the same day? You got something made of titanium, I'll tell you that much.

My fault Red, I didnt know it was only the first 1000 members that have the upload attachment ability. Oh, and nice bike. And if you dont know where to upload your photos, try Photobucket. Automatically resizes images for you too when you upload.
