How many of you advocate the MSF course(s) but haven't taken one?

Count me as one. I was registered, then had to go out of town and cancelled. That's not to say I couldn't learn a whole lot from the course.

the advanced course is pretty nice, im gonna take that again, probably next summer..its free here in PA, and it certainly cant hurt.

the beginner course is a must, IMO, they teach you the basics and give you enough knowledge to get started out safely.

Ive taken both, but been quite a long time since I took the last one.
