I am getting a 2003 Katana 600 next week. It is my first bike. My inssurace quot is $779 for six monthes. it this normal? I think it is too high.
What inssurance companies that gives best quot?

P.S. I am 30 years old, and have a clean driving record.

I pay $485 a year full coverage on a 2000 SV650, 23 yrs old, no tickets no accidents. it was $420 a year last year, but their were so many claims last year they raised it on me. I got another quote a few weeks ago for $441. a year but Ihaven't switched it over yet.

State Farm is my carrier and I have broad coverage (full comp/collision) at approx. 600 a year for two bikes - 1995 ZX6E and 2003 ZX7R. I am 31 years old with a clean record. I have two cars insured (full coverage and liability only) with them as well. Unfortunately, my insurance coverages are quoted as if I lived in the city of Detroit.

26 yrs old with a clean record. My insurance went down from the SV to the CBR 600RR to $548/ yr full coverage with $250 ded. I also have my truck with them too. Liberty Mutual ins. Co.

Progressive pay $282 year for two bikes, with 500K Liability.
State Farm who insures my homes, wanted $700 year with less coverage :crazy:

Those are some unbelievable prices you all pay. Those figures are nuts. acouple werent horrible but some are just out there Full coverage on my truck isnt that high. :2cents:
