I just wanted to say I'm sorry if my posts in a couple recent threads bothered anyone. All I was doing was stating something that I personally saw happen. Unfortunately, another member had to throw out personal insults and comments about my ability to be a good father, good man, etc. I was not about to let someone insult my integrity without at least one response. I'm sorry if my comments upset or bothered anyone in any way. I tend to get along with everyone on this forum and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm not about to stoop to the level of name calling and personal insults. I just stated facts about something that I personally witnessed and then my integrity got called into the thread for absolutely no reason. Later, there were a couple posts about the arguing etc., bothering people. That was not my intent.

I hope I did not upset or bother anyone, and again, I'm sorry to all of you if I was out of line.

I'm not apologizing b/c I was just warning a board of people that know nothing of what we're talking about. It's different at BCF and the other boards where people know. Too many people are afraid to speak up b/c they're afraid. I'd have a guilty conscience if something happened and I never said a word.

With that said, I've said all I'm going to say on the matter. Everyone can draw their own conclusions.

I am ok with it. I know in the future we all need to be alot more cautious about what we say. The insults to another member is not going to be accepted her on TWF any longer. Everyone has seen it happen in the past and Shan has given far enought warning for everyone on here. I am sure this is the last warning for the insults on TWF and he will make a choice to what he wants to do next time it happens and I am sure it will not be a warning. Keep that in mind ppl.

But know lets go back to having fun on TWF and talk about what we all like to do. Ride. :dthumb:

Its ok to debate and disagree about topics motorcycle related or not, thats what forums are for !..but when it comes to personal attacks towards anyone, we will always step in !

Myself and Shan take issues like this seriously and deal with them according to the TWF standards of conduct that has served us well since our inception. We dont like seeing problems start and having to close threads. Its not fun for either of us, or for the members.

TWF prides itself on great members, great discussions, and NO PERSONAL ATTACKS OF ANY KIND. It will stay that way no matter what!!! So please, if you take issue with something that someone said, please discuss in an adult and civilized manner...and if you cant do so, take to email or PM and not out in the public forms.

personally, a certain amount of insulting can be humorous, and as long as the attacks aren't vicious or totally out of bounds for good taste or promoting some type of stereotyping or intolerance. Most of us here are out of high school and should know better. I enjoy watching a good "cut down" battle, but when flaming turn to malicious intent...time to draw a line. there are some who just like to push too far and to them, I will just ignore the threads they post in. On a personal note to the good Captain, I have always felt you have conducted yourself in a positive manner and you do not owe me an apology.
