He picked up an '05 Busa for like 10K. The douchebag has never rode a street bike!! :yikes: I've been riding for over a year now and I still wouldn't **** w/ a Busa. I told him that's almost certain death for me so maybe he'll get the idea. He's rode dirt bikes and that's it. Dudes crazy. He has no idea of the power of that beast. i'm sure they'll be more to come the longer he has that thing...

i didn't ask him what he was thinking. I just gave him subtle hints that that thing is POWERFUL. I told him that if he ever wants to go 200, he can. Hoping he gets the idea that it's just a little too powerful for him and he needs to take it easy. i don't want to ride with him because I'll feel a little guilty if he goes down trying to keep up.

Depends on the type of person he is.. Hope for his sake (and anyone riding with him) he's dead careful with his wrist-twisting, and doesnt try all-out the first few times he takes it out. (Like the first year or so)

I'm not surprised....I had two friends that were going to purchase Busas two years ago when I started riding. Although they had absolutely no experience riding on two wheels, their justification was that they seen girls handle 1000cc bikes without difficulty. I told them they were out of their minds to start so big and I had no problem being a pall bearer at their funeral. Fortunately, neither was able to purchase a bike due to finances.

For his sake, I hope he's careful and I do mean careful......What was he thinking when he purchased one of the most powerful sportbikes out there? Maybe he's just trying to keep up with the Jones' :nonod:

All I have to say is, wow. Good luck to that guy! I actually don't ride. It's impossible for me. I have no idea why, but trust me, I can't do it. I've tried a ton of times. I have a ton of friends who ride, and they all tried to teach me. I can't even do a 4 wheeler. Unfortunately, I still love motorcycles, so I produce stunt videos and such, but my point is this. This guy has never ridden? Imagine if I bought a 'Busa and tried for the first time on that. I promise you, I would not be here today. I can whip cars no problem, and used to be great on a BMX bike. So I had every reason to believe I could ride motorcycles too, but I cannot. Damn, I hope this guys lucky.

This is foolish. Is this guy a knucklehead or is he a down to earth type dood?
I think he's bi-polar or something. I'll come into work (he works the shift before me) and we'll be doing a shift change, and I'll ask why this or that didn't get done and he'll just blow up. One day he logged off and just left. Very unproffesional. And then somedays he's all happy go lucky. There's gotta be a real reason why he did it. I could care less to find out.

Take the MSF course. If you can drive a stick you can learn. My girl is taking it as we speek. She's 5'3", 100 lbs. God, i hope she makes it.

The guy owns a dirtbike, but that's like comparing apples to oranges.

Yes yes. I'm pretty sure he doesn't likeme. I point out his **** ups via e-mail every night. He's not exactly the best guy we got. So i don't think he'll ask me to ride w/ him. if he does, I don't know what I'll say. I'm almost tempted just to see what he does.
