So I went riding tonight, it was fun, for the most part. I went up this road that has a buncha twisties on it. A guy I know takes the road at like 120+ but in full race gear. I can only do about 70-75 through it right now.

But two bad things:

1. I went out at 9:30PM with a dark shield on. That's a no-no for now on. I couldn't see anything that well. I was just too lazy to change out the visor for the clear one. Although I'm thinkin' about pickin' up one with less tint to it.

2. Some idiota in a cage decided that he wanted to talk **** when I was filling up my gas take after comin' over the mountain road. He had a Chevy Cavalier that he said was "worked to the ballz". The only thing that I heard was an exhaust. But anyways, he ran his mouth cause his girl was in the car and I was like, Ok. I'll go run with you. Needless to say, when I hit 80mph down the highway, he stopped but I saw him on my way back pulled over in the left lane. I was ROFLMAO (figuratively speaking of course).

So what honestly posesses people in these little 4bangers to think they can beat a bike in a race? (anyone with an import please let me know.)

That would be easier than a bike built for straight line.

Ok, then I'll get that girl that drags bikes and we'll put her up against your vette? or RT? Whichever you choose. What about that guy who did like 280mph on a 'busa in the salt flats. Is that good?

There will always be a cage faster is my only point!

I know. I know. You can do much more to cages then to bikes. That's why I know I'd lose.

What about around a track? You think there could be cars that'll beat out bikes? I've seen some stiff competition, like that girl who came in 4th at the Indy 500 this year!

Just look at F1 lap times. There better than the WSBK's on same track.

See, I'm not big into car racing. I just don't get it. It looks boring but I guess that's cause I do that in my car around the local streets. I love taking turns that are like "recommended at 30mph" at like 40 or better in my car. But on the bike, well, I'm not that experienced yet and it'd scare me a little to do like 100+mph through a turn.

You haven't lived till you have done 100+mph with your knee on the pavement.

Baby steps man, baby steps. I gotta get my full leathers from Speedwerks first, along with boots and a new lid to do that. And that'll ONLY be done at the track, I promise that.

On a side note, my avatar dances better than I do!

So you barely surpassed 1k miles on your R6 and you're already doing 75-80mph @ night with tinted visor in the twisties? You scare me sometimes :luck:

Yeah, hey now, you gotta remember, I'm from NY and we are not all there! And the visor, well it's one of the DARK tinted ones. And the twisties, well I'm in jeans, boots, jacket, gloves, lid and back protector, doesn't that count for a little something?

Hey, that reminds me, I never did see a "TWF Product Review on the Icon Field Armor" products. I like them.
