To answer your question...they threw in a full take of gas..nearly talked him out of a new Joe Rocket riding jacket, but that was a long shot, since it was a pre-owned bike..LOL..but I did get a new pair of Phoenix gloves. My helmet doesnt quite match the bike..but my wife got it for me for christmas last year..its cool as hell..so im not ready to give it up quite yet...maybe i'll just repaint the bike to match the helmet..heh heh...Douge said:Excellent, post the pics! What color is it? Give us some details, did you get any gear, helmut etc...
I'll have to go edit my "bikes you've owned" post, I had a Katana 600 for a couple of months.
Nice bike! Enjoy..
He's not yet, but I told him about it..I'll see him at work today and tell him to jump on, and start getting into the act. I don't think he know it was 5 year old battery, although he should have asked...but oh well..he picked up a new today, and put it in, so all is well, except for needing a new back tire, which he ordered a couple days ago.BusaBabe said:Your trip sounds like a pain in the butt. Is your friend with the 5 year old battery on this site? I'd like to talk to him! Even I know thats an old battery. He needed this :helpme:
Hello BusaBabe. I am now on the site and very much enjoy the site. I have since then replaced the battery. I didn't find out that it was a 5yr old battery till it happened and called the guy I got the bike off of. Since then, it has ran great for me and no worries or problems since then. On another note, the front comes up very easily and I like it.BusaBabe said:Your trip sounds like a pain in the butt. Is your friend with the 5 year old battery on this site? I'd like to talk to him!
