What in the bloody hell is up with AIM??!?!?!?!?! I've been having problems with since this afternoon. I kept getting booted and it would freeze up... I rebooted my comp, uninstalled then REinstalled it, upgraded...Did all the bull$hyt that I could do and still it won't load! :wtf: My hubby who is the expert in comps even tried to figure WTF was wrong with it for AN HOUR!

:cursin: I am pissed! I thinking of trashing AIM all together and using Yahoo IM. This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had problems with the latest version (5.9) of AIM as well. I'd get the "performed illegal operation and will be shut down" message evertime I tried to IM someone or they tried to IM me. I ended up deleting it after many attempts of uninstall and reinstalling with no success. I ended up downloading Trillian, and it works great!! Works with everything, AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, etc, so you get to keep all your buddy lists open in one spot. Doesn't have spyware with it either, a nice treat over AIM, hahah

Anything from AOL always sucks and causes problems... bastards! :cursin:

I sence anger in your voice (type) There is another program that you can use that will allow you to use AIM as well as other IM's programs and leave AOLs software alone... If...now I'll go way out there... If you can smile I will tell you what it is... Cuz I like Happy people...

Trillian is great. I used to use it at my old job and loved it. I am trying to get it at my job now. I will see how this goes next week.

Since they are actively trying to suspend the Bill of Rights, I don't want anything to do with AOL.

AOL is one of the biggest contributors to Sarah Brady's Hangun Control Organization. The ownership/management of AOL are big time backers of those people of Hiliary Clinton's ilk, who want to ban private ownership of guns in America. They are on the record saying it and they are putting large sums of cash behind candidates and organizations that are pushing it. They don't believe in the Second Amendment...You know, the one the founding fathers put in there just in case the politicians try to ignore or forget the rest. You might, no, you would be surprised at the companies you support and give your money to that are trying to take away our freedoms and are actively trying to make The U.S.A. subservient to the United Nations.
