yeah, when i moved to PA, but my current insuarance company doesn't write insurance in PA, so I am being forced to drop them. I have been calling all these insurance companies for the past few weeks and they give me the most redicoulous quotes, and I'm even a USAA member. They expect me to pay $300 to $500 more a year....get real.

Nope GMAC. Geico gave me almost as bad as a quote as progressive. These insurance co's really don't like us sportbike riders. I have a clean driving record and MSF certification and I have been a rider for over six years. Even at that the SV really isn't a top dog sport bike :wtf:

State Farm here!
ahh they won't just insure a bike alone, they want my truck and car also...I would even think of getting rid of USAA for the car and truck. Everytime I mention USAA every agent says upfront ahhh I don't think I can beat them. I say I'm not looking for car insurance BIKE insurance. oh I think we can help you there.

Actually State Farm does insure bikes alone. I have my bike with them and NOTHING else. Howevr I do know they no longer like to write only bike policies. At one time I had car and renters insurance with them but switched them over since I could save crap loads with my current carrier. Unfortunately my current carrier quoted me $1789 a year for my bike. So obviously I left it at State Farm. LOL

thats the kind of quotes I was getting, I'm not paying that I was paying $420 last year, alot of claims from squids last year caused my insurance to go up this year to $585. GMAC quoted me $441 which is the cheapest I've found yet.
