Yeah, I saw the video on Fugly.com and it was not a good turn out for him. He bounced around a bit. Good thing he had on full gear. Made it a better out come then if he was not wearing any.

If you look at the pic a little closer you can see that the tiremarks show that the bike as sliding slid to the right and caused it to go airborne. I know I don't ever want to try this.

There is always one defining moment in any crash or avoidance of one that you say oh f*** this is not going to be good - that picture captures the essence of that moment for the guy crashing and the guy following who is about to.. That one brief moment in time when you have no control and 1 second feels like a week.. Usually just before "lights out".. Most of the time in a wreck we forget about it later if a head injury is involved - not sure if that is part of the head injury or just our brain blocking it out?

I think it's probably a bit of both, as the mind will at times attempt to block out thoughts/images that are harmful or painful for us.
