I rode today...anybody else !

Got up at some ungodly hour of 6:30 am after going to bed at 4:00am. :bonk: ..Took my kids out to breakfast b/4 school, and wanted to stop at the bank, but of course they didnt open till 9am, and it was then 8am. I was like WTF!!!! Have some more convenient hours, this is 2004 for God sakes !! So I came home, posted in here alittle bit, and goofed around on the net till about 8:45am, and said to myself, self, "you should ride today", so, I went out, had a smoke & could see my breath, it was 35 degrees out ! :here: I said, the heck w/ it, Im riding, got all bundled up, and she fired right up ! I was like yeah, this is cool ! So I rode to the bank (about 8 miles or so from the house, then rode back home. It wasn't a long ride, but it was something, and since I can't winterize yet cuz we're moving in january, I figure I might as well get it in, while I can.

Anybody else ride today?

I thought about it, but no!

Two people here at work did, though. There's a Harley and a ST1300 out there. Both of which, might I add, have a full windscreen.

My car said it was 32 degrees this am, so I passed.

LOL I told you to take the darn thing! Today is actually warmer compared to past few!

Hey DJ & N4S.... I think I saw there is a motorcyle ride sunday starting at 8:30 am.... some ride for toys or something. On my way from the mall (galleria) yesterday at that Motorcycle club I saw a sign! :dthumb: If you're gonna freeze your bunns off, do it for a good cause!!!

I rode today as well. Braved the elements and had a good time. It had been a few weeks since I was able to find time and good weather together to do so. Felt real good for sure.

It was 29 degrees here at 5:00am but since this is paradise, It hit the low 60's about 3:00pm. Since today is Friday and M played hookey from hospital...Someone had to go to Georgia for Mega millions tickets!!! As GasMan so eloquently puts it, "It sucks" but I had to do it. It was so refreshing, My 30 mile trip turned into the 80 mile long way home. I got to play with a 350Z on the way home. He hung pretty good at 100+ on the highway. But once we started close to town, He watched me disappear in traffic. All in all, it was a pretty good day. Now I have to get ready for my company dinner. I must be insane, they talked me into dinner, drinks and live music for 45. And they still expect a little Bling-bling in their stockings. But, it must have been a pretty good year.

I didn't get a chance to ride today, had to many errands and xmas stuff to take care of. But Im hoping to get a ride in this weekend yet. The ninja is looking to stretch her legs and strut her stuff.

Sweet...I just saw that I have never welcomed you to TWF. Welcome. :cheers: be sure to log in to the how fast thread and log in as to how fast you have had that beast of yours. Got any pics as well?
