I have them and they are great. The only bad thing I have to say about them is I don't like the zipper - it seems to wander open every now and again. The button on the front above the zipper has a cheap feel to it as well. But as far as fit, function, etc. they are great - I am going to buy a blue pair as I have a black pair now. I am also going to try the Draggin Jeans - I almost bought a pair at Mid-Ohio last year but I decided not to because I didn't want to spend the money at the time.. Definately a good idea to buy something like this for around town, etc. instead of regular jeans which will shred like a piece of paper.. Especially since wearing leather riding pants is not feasible 100% of the time.. I bought my Icons @ Ride Gear for a decent price.. Hope this helps..

I own a pair of Recons and a pair of Barriers. The Recons have extra vents and they are the only ones I've worn so far as I got the Barriers a few months ago. Picked up the Barriers from Speedwerks for an awesome price.

I can't attest to their durablity in a crash, but the jeans are comfortable and 'normal' enough to wear around in public. They are going to be perfect for my around town jaunts.

Jodi from SBR just ordered a pair. I'll let you know how she likes them. I have a pair of the recon pants and love them. Nice thick denim with Kevlar reinforced knees. I have a set of their field armor on the way. Looking forward to checking them out. Also I'm interested in their new Athem Pants and would like to get a pair or two.

I haven't seen anything from Icon that I didn't like.

very bad joke !!! got the jeans today and they run small very small.
if any one buys a pair go 4 sizes up for the recon pants and 2 too 4
on the anthem jeans . they are 100% cotton and will shink if you wash them.
overall they look cool but very stiff and the inseam are long . i have a 34 inseam and they where still past my feet. will have to hem up . so have too
wait some more for new sizes for now.

Well I wore the Barriers on the bike last week and they were awesome. Quite comfortable, warm, and I think the thickness would keep some of the roadrash down if I had to test them out. The fleece lining on the inside is so soft too!
