Anyone else suffer from this?!?!?!

I was very tired. So normally, when you're tired, ya sleep, right?

WRONG! Not in my case. I couldn't get comfortable. One minute I'd be too hot or too cold. THEN, Allen came home for lunch. (For those of you who don't know my hubby, he works midnight till eight in the morning.) We watched Parker Bohn III get beat by Mika Koivuniemi in the Geico Open, since we missed it Sunday afternoon. (And for those of you who are going, "Who the F* are those guys?", they are professional bowlers. MP will know who they are.) And soon after we headed up to bed. About half hour later, Allen went BACK to work and I tossed and turned leading me to...Well on TWF at 0630am.

NOW... I've gone to the doctor about this situation a couple of times. And neither time was any bit the help. He wouldn't give me any kind of sleeping aid, he just gave a few suggestions that didn't do jack $hit. *Sighs* Sorry for this lame a$$ rant, but this just SUCKS! :cursin:

i have been having this problem as of late. Not sure what is causing it but it sucks. Im just gonna get wasted everynight. Drinking make me sleeping.

Its due to you not getting to ride. thats all. It will clear in the spring for you. Or you can go sleep by your bikes. LOL

Missy uses just the generic sleep aid gels (not the kind w/ sick medicine in or anything) u can get at any local super market or pharmacy. she takes 2 of those and she's out like a light!

This is gonna sound really bad....and I do not mean to offend anyone or sound awful....but....praying makes me fall asleep. Just start like praying for people and you should fall asleep shortly.

My wife's going thru this also right now. Seems to be tied in with anxiety also.
Just got a scrip for Paxil, but that revved her up and had the opposite effect.
Not good.
You worried about sumthin'???

Actually, when I was going through alot of stress at one time, I could not sleep well at all. I do remember one of the things that actually did help was laying in bed and taking a few really deep breathes. By doing that it really relaxes your body and helps you fall asleep.

Hey Char, I think we just need a good night out! LOL  See ya in a few weeks!

I'm with you 100%, however I've had the problem for a couple years. I sleep a couple hours a night off and on until after a couple days I'm just so darn tired I sleep well.

Well, that's not totally honest..if I don't take precautions that is what happens. I have to exercise during the day or evening...then relax, then my goodnight beer before bed and I do decent, only up a couple of times

but like said earlier, prayer works wonders as well amazingly. Good luck, I'll make sure to add you to my list tonight when I'm up

Sounds like stress or worry - I would try a sleep aid pill or a good ole' hot tottie. Try to clear your head of all worries, then start with taking deep breaths, and then try to relax your body from the toes up, completely relaxing your muscles. I had this problem a long while back, it was from anxiety. :willy:

Try sex. LOL I always sleep best after throwing her the hog! Its simple, effective, and enjoyable! LOL :dthumb: Not sure if its medically proven, but I guess you could use the excuse that it is!
