ok im not that fat.i am 5 foot 9 and weigh 230.i wear 38 pants and xl shirt.i am wanting a alpinestars jacket,either the v4 or the stage but i have heard they run small.do they have alot of taper at the bottom,im cursed with lovehandles.and i cant try anything on cause none of the shops here carry leather:wbs: .any idea what size i might wear.i currently have a joe rocket phoenix in xl and it fits pretty good.also i know jeeps84 isnt to far from me so if u know a place that carries a* please let me know:twfrox:

My friend who is big (6 ft+ and probably 300lbs) just bought this ICON jacket.
He says it has fat expanders on the side :lol:
He rides with these zippers open all the time and say it is comfortable.

I am 5'10" and very wide at the shoulders. I do wear from xl to xxl and I wear a size 50 in a Icon Daytona jacket; leather of course. Maybe this can help.:dthumb:

My boyfriend is 6'0" about 260, and Alpinestars fits him perfect. He typically wears an XXL in shirts (broad through shoulders and chest). He has a T-stunt Airflow (I think that's what it's called) that is by far his favorite jacket.

Also, Alpinestars Black Label seems to be a bit more of a "relaxed" fit. I got him the Magnum leather for Christmas (in an XXL) and it's actually a bit on the loose side.

In women's gear, Alpinestars definitely seems to run small/short, but the men's gear is perfect for guys who aren't built like toothpicks.
