Hey, I just ran to the store and to my suprise they actually had Two Wheel Tuner! though an Issue late I might add... (no Sara in this issue :disapp: ) but reading through I saw a article in the News section about Joe Rocket being counterfeited... just wonder if anyone else had heard about this...

"A Robinson's Inc. representative, accompanied by three U.S. Marshals, two attorneys and a locksmith, converged on a San Diego storage facility from wherein counterfeit items bearing the Joe Rocket brand name were discovered and subsequently seized. With the assistance of a private investigator, counterfeit jackets were previously traced to this specific clandestine operations. The seized items are of extremely poor quality and construction but are marked with theJoe Rocket tag."

I've talked to alot of people about Joe Rocket over the past couple years and it seems like either they say it's trash or it's great stuff... no gray area... I'm just wondering if this might have something to do with why the people say they're trash ad fall apart... :2cents:

Haven't heard that but with JR being based out of Michigan I know a few people that know some people that wipe some people's asses that clean houses for the secretaries for Joe Rocket people... I'll ask!

Yes you did... I noticed it right away but wanted to see who would point it out... I got it fixed up for ya!

Like many manufacturers, Joe Rocket had some quality issues when they first arrived. Unlike some, they worked to improve the product and it is really not a bad product at all.

You will note, however, that the price has increased as well. Joe Rocket entered the scene on the low end with more affordable gear. Over time, as thier name became recognized and people were buying more of their product, the price went up.

You will also note, however, that the price didn't go up nearly as much or as quickly as Icon!

Well JR is also doing alot more R&D and putting out alot more products. All that will add to a rising cost and therefor a rising price.

However, what about this whole conterfeit issue????
