July 19th - Ride to Work Day

Same here.... My job is relocating and my commute will be 70 miles (round trip) per day.

I am not happy about that at all. I rode the bike to the new location yesterday to see what the commute would be like and "IT SUCKS". I can expect an hours ride there and back with minimal traffic. Riding on two wheels is the only positive.

I agree but my choices are ride the bike that get's great gas mileage or drive my 89 caprice (V8) that get's terrible gas mileage. It's a no brainer for me. I'll drive my car only when absolutely necessary and I'll be watching the weather reports more closely this season.

Also, the wifey is getting a new car this summer so I'll get my 01 Taurus back for commuting.
