I leave for work at 3am too. I've rode to work once. In the middle of summer...30 mins. to work...still sucked.

I agree but my choices are ride the bike that get's great gas mileage or drive my 89 caprice (V8) that get's terrible gas mileage. It's a no brainer for me. I'll drive my car only when absolutely necessary and I'll be watching the weather reports more closely this season.

Also, the wifey is getting a new car this summer so I'll get my 01 Taurus back for commuting.
