Well i just bought my first bike, i've never riden before and i can't wait to get on the road. i just bought an '03 hayabusa from a friend of mine. i know its alittle too much bike for me to start with but i like the way it looks. plus, i'm not going to go too fast because i'm smarter than that. i still need to buy some gear but i'm going to wait till i have some more money. i dont think i'll fall down, i have good balance. look forward to seeing you on the road.

If this is not a joke about never riding before I feel for ya.
There is a thing called rider freeze. It is when your stairing at danger and cant even let go of the throttle. You have no natural refelexs yet. And A Busa can produce enough speed in a short distance you could be in for some serious trouble.
I wish you the best of luck and like the others have said Welcome to TWF, It was nice to know ya! Er' I mean we would all like to get to know ya' so please take it easy and look way ahead.

Damn, first bike is a Busa. I suggest you invest in a titanium body suit. Or sell it to someone else to make a profit. I've been riding for a year now (14K miles) and I still wouldn't fuk w/ a Busa. :luck:

First bike I ever rode was an 03 GSXR 1000. Straights are pretty easy but it takes a while, especially from a stopped position, to turn, like at an intersection and you take a left. Your not used to the throttle so as your right arm extends it pulls the throttle back. I ended up on the sidewalk once. Scared me. But the next day I bought my R6. That Busa's throttle is touchy and powerful as hell.

That's awesome bro. What color? If it's red, make sure to get a red bandana for you heezy, and if it's black, maybe go with a yellow bandana and yellow windscreen.

Also, there are some really nice turbo kits out there now to, and make sure to get a TRE so you're not limited to 187mph.

I can't believe how many of you think this guy is serious.

"Hi, I'm a new rider and am thinking about getting a busa. How should I cut my hair so it doesn't mess up in the wind over 100mph? Thanks." :bonk:
I just want to reassure that people are stupid and will do stupid things.

Lets see. 1 post by a user named, "majornoob," and he's talking about how he just bought a busa for his first bike, but he doesn't need gear yet b/c he has good balance.

I must be the only one with an accurate bulls*** meter on this board. His post was meant to be a joke. Instead, it turned into a successful troll with most everyone biting on it.

well i just got back from my first ride, i accidently hit the throttle alittle too hard, didnt realize how much power these things have. i popped a wheelie and fell on my butt as my bike took a dive. good thing i was wearing my bandana because i smacked my head on the ground and it prevented the blood from leaking on my clothes.

That's crucial to have the bandana. When you can, be sure to get a nice Arai or Shoei. They make fantastic frame sliders when you strap them to the back.

The problem is, though, that I have to have two, one on each side. With just one helmet strapped on the back, the bike gets really wobbly at 100+.

BTW, can anyone recommend some good shades? I love my Oakleys, but my eyes still tear up a bit from exaust and wind burn when we're doing 150 through traffic.

Congrats on the new bike, though. I LOVE mine. Soon, I'm dipping the tires in chrome, then stretching and lowering the frame.

The only thing that's really pissing me off, though, is the laces on my Timberlands keep getting caught when I ride and it's hard to get my feet down. So, since I don't tie them anyway, I just pull my feet out of my boots when I come to a stop. It works well and allows my feet to air out a bit at lights. :dthumb:
