Been there...

We finally got everyone in the group ready to ride together and it rained in NC for like 2 weeks straight. Only lately has it been nice. Right now if you look at my bike you'd mistake it for a big @$$ bug killer from the all day riding around we've done.

It'll clear, and you'll be the one enjoyin' the all riding!

i lived about 20 minutes outside of Detroit for 22 years, that's where my love of cars and bikes started. i moved down here to Florida about 1 1/2 years ago, so it's still in my blood :) literally, lol! i have a tat on my right hip that has the Detroit "D" in red/orange/black with "Motor City" written through it.

thanks for the welcome :) where are you from in Michigan? i lived in Troy....does that sound familiar?

If it's is cloudy I dont ride. I would rather not ride a little just to spend a day cleaning it. I can do a wash and wax right in my garage by not riding on rain days. :dthumb:

I can understand that... one of the worse parts is cleaning the bike after the ride in the rain.
who are you kidding money bags? you just sell it and go buy another bike when it gets dirty.. rolling around in your $3 million house laughing at us unfortunate poor mfrs..

Detroitracechick you ain't never seen a mile road south of 10.. wtf, over? Troy is NOT Detroit. Troy is as much Detroit as West Bloomfield is a ghetto - NOT. Um claiming fame to Detroit when you lived nowhere near is sick.. If you lived down at Joy and Grand River behind the Carousel Cleaners in the projects come back and talk to me.. otherwise you are just a poseur that now lives down in Florida wallowing in the make believe of yesteryear..

HA!!!! i grew up there, i know the whole state :) i went to school at Wayne State University, so i've been "in the ghetto" :p Take 75 North to 16 Mile, that's where i lived, about 20 minutes outside Detroit. i really don't want to claim that i lived "in" Detroit...who does? i went to school in Detroit, went bar-hopping downtown, Comerica Park, Joe Louis Arena, Ford Field, to the casino's, Belle Isle, Cobo Hall (NAIAS), Greek Town, Woodward, etc. Trust me, i've been to it all. Plus, Detroit is a city that EVERYONE knows. so when someone asks, i say, "about 20 minutes north of Detroit". it puts an idea in their mind where exactly i was at, instead of claiming "Troy" cuz everyone's gonna say, "Where the **** is that?" See my point??? i thought you would. Plus, don't you live in Plymouth??? :p
