Which make of riding jeans have kevlar fibers and the option to insert knee armor?? I've looked at JR's steel jeans but I don't think "steel" fibers will hold up as well as kevlar/aramid fibers so I've crossed them off my list. That leaves Draggin and Icon Recons. I remember seeing some jeans that fit the bill but for the life of me, I can't remember who makes them and where I saw them!! (It really pisses me off when that happens!! ) Thanks and Ride ON!!!

I bought a pair from http://www.brosh.com/store.asp
probably 3 years ago and i still wear them quite often.
Lots of Kevlar and i also got the optional knee pads
Great for those short trips where you are now cornering hard
but are still smart enough to wear protection but not full gear.
I found the hard armour knee pads to be better than
the ones in my JR blaster pants so i switched them.

I have tried on a few different pairs of riding jeans. I tried the Joe Rocket steel jeans, the Icon recon jeans, the Draggin jeans, and the Shift motorcycle jeans.

Out of all of them I tried on I bought the draggin jeans and the Shift jeans. The draggin jeans seem the most durable and will offer the most protection in a crash. They are a heavy duty denim with tripple stitching and lots of kevlar lining.

The shift jeans are quite nice as well. They seem more durable and offer more protection the the Icon & Joe rocket jeans. They are no where as near as nice and durable as the draggin jeans.

I also purchased the Icon leg armor. They just strap onto my legs and I wear them under the jeans. When I have them on, you can't even tell. I'm happy with them.

I have the icon recons...I would like to highly recommend them, but I can't, I am hoping I don't have to test them, but I do hope they work once...
One of my best friends went down a couple of weeks ago at 65mph in a pair of Icon jeans. The jeans are virtually undamaged.

As for armor, I'd prefer something like the Icon field armor, or just plain old CE dirtbike armor underneath. Armor pockets in a jean likely won't keep the armor in place.
