Was noticing the Large number of folks that lurk but don't sign in...at last check..5 members logged on and 55 guests. I counted the counters for individual forums and threads, and the total only came to 36:

A. How come the totals don't jive?

B. Why don't you folks sign up and in and take part?

My guess would be the forum software includes "spiders" and "BOT's" as guests.
Spiders and bots are pretty much search engine devices that go out on the world wide web and search for the keywords a user types in their search engines, and then display them as a list for the user to choose from.

If you click on the users icon at the bottom of TWF you can see who's online and the majority of them are bots and spiders of some search engine.

However, there are a lot of lurkers too that should sign up because its FREE and :twfrox:

Old... we have always pondered that ourselves... and while yes, some of those are search spiders, many are just people not logged in. You can see the difference from the "Who's Online" menu...

I'll add a link to that menu in my sig... I need to change it anyway!!!

Those spiders and bots also change the adds you see on the page you are viewing. Check out some of the adds to the side of this forum. Some time they can be entertaining as to what might be displayed. :lol:
