Look at him after it's over, he's calm like he just woke up. Type A personality, adrenaline junkie. . Go fast, must go faster, then faster. I figure most sport bike riders are the same way, but not to that extreme.

That is Barry Henson the owner of Velocity Racing... that guy is the builder and rider of the fastest street legal bike in history ad barely over 7 seconds...
www.velocityracing.com

If he can ride a 7.25 secodn busa id htink a regualr street machine is nothing....

And last year he had a near fatal accident mid drag season...while testing a clients personal bike in Florida. To win the championship he had to win the last three events... he did it while he still couldnt walk without crutches. That guy is a tough motherfRucker
And the bike he won it on was that busa that hadnt had a pro run until the first race ofg the last three.. He changed bikes after the accident from a XX to the Busa with his own turbo on it. If you wanna turbo a bike, nobody can build it right like him.

I remember the first time I opened up the 1k all the way (almost)
I was on one of the longest straights in my area.
It had a slight left kink in it.
140, 150mph a few times but never twisted all the way.
I hit the straight about 80mph and dropped a gear to get full power and let'er rip.
That left was scary at 160 indicated and not sure where it quit.
I was to busy holding on.
Loved it and couldn't stop shaking for at least ten minutes.

I'd do over 200..just give me the bike and a straight piece of road!
GasMan. . I know you guys prefer twisties over drag/top speed, but: www.texasmile.com I don't know of a safer/better way to do it, it's a long haul for you guys though.

I'm in the 160mph club and who knows how many times I've hit 150, even hit that on my F4i. This bike is nuts though, it gets up there so quick it doesn't seem you're going that fast.

I'm not exactly sure what it would take this bike to hit 200.

Scott, I wonder if what he's topped out at? Scott Guthrie hit 251 on his busa. Apparently he's Dale Earnhardt Jr's machinist.

Henson has done 200 in a 1/4 mi so give him more room and let him gwear it for top and i htink hed break the 251.... The last HP shootout his busa went to was the first one to break 600HP......im sure 600 ponies and 700lbs with ride will do well over 250 if its geared to.
