Major cross wind today...
330 am..finally go to bed.. 730 am, alarm goes off...oh god, its gotta be freezing outside!! hit the snooze till 8am and then finally stumble outta bed, stub my toe, trip over the dog and knock my head on the dresser drawer! yeah, it was alittle ugly at first, but then i walked out to the garage, fired up the Kat, and took off for DJ's house. get there by about 8:30 or so. talking to 3boyz for a minute , then off to get gas, and hit some twisties. I hadn't been on those rides on a bike in quite awhile, so it was fun, getting on it and practicing up my skillz at the same time.
Then we head to denny's for some breakfast, i go flying thru an intersection and there is a cop..im like shiet!!!! and i look back and DJ is just chillin back there cuz he saw him first and I obviously missed him. oh well, he didnt come after us, then we stopped and ate, went back out and got our need4speed on down Rt 30. a usual little jaunt we do when we are out and just get that itch!! only hit about 130 on the way down, but on the way back, it was on..145 mph, and let me tell ya, the cross wind mixed with the headwind is enough to scare the crap outta you when you doing 130 and all of the sudden the wind blows you across a lane and a half.
DJ and I took turns passing each other and pulling a wos thing, splittlin lanes left and right..damn near got cut off by some dude who wanted to inch over into our lane when trying to legally pass him too.
Then we came up on some slower traffic and just chilled the rest of the way back till DJ had to go to work, and i just cruised home at a nice even 90-100 back down rt 30.
Nice Freezing ride at 8am, but by the time we broke off, aroudn 10:45 or so, it was nice out.
Since many of us have already winterized..thought I'd share out little jaunt with you today, so you can feel like u were right there with us.
