well i was riding with a buddy of mine going home after putting on my new "FRAME SLIDERS",

as i am getting on the onramp to enter the freeway, some dumb b##ch decides to break hard. I hit my breaks easy, and then.... the front end came out from under the bike, and the only thing that saved the bike was the frame sliders...

i also had on a jacket and only suffered a minor road rash on my knee through my jeans, and my jacket saved my arm and side. :yikes:

Sorry to hear about your "learning experience". Front end washouts suck. Glad you were wearing your gear.

What was the condition of the road, and what errors did you make that contributed to your crash?

You live to ride another day...thats the imporant part..... :dthumb: good thing u wear gear & had frame sliders installed. :dthumb:

As for the knee thing....after I took my first small spill & banged up my right knee..... I went and bought knee/shin protectors....I always have them on eversince.. A-Stars makes some nice ones for 20-30 bucks.

Yeah that sucks... but yeah frame sliders alway help... its one of the first if not the first mod we tell most newbies to get on their bikes.... I have known too many people that have crashed just before putting them on... I even knew a guy that crashed his GSXR750 on the way home from buying them... they were in the trunk of the bike and BANG wadded his crap up!!!

But anyway, let's see some pics... :nopicsbs:

Glad you and your bike survived to ride another day.
Still curious about what the road conditions were. Cold, wet and or with a oil strip in the middle?

yeah, thats my girl friend, and my bike dosent look different at all from the accident. the road conditions were sunny and dry, it hadent rained in 3 days before. i dont understand why the front wheel washed out from under me, but for some reason it did.

i will get more pictures of her on the bike with all the new upgrades to the bike after the accident. new exaust, front flush clear blinkers, rear break light w/ intergrated blinkers, ohh and new frame sliders.
