i saw an article for this wax in a bike magazine. claims it will put all other waxes to shame. i bought it today and tried it. very pleased with the results. it cost about $16, but it was $$ well spent. it really made my paint shine, almost like it was wet. anyone else tried it? let me know what you thought of it.

i don't wax my bike anymore, i just get a new paint job, when it starts to look dull, faded, or swirl marks appear I just have my painter buff it out with the high speed buffer.
edit>>however I do polish the bike numberous times a day with plexus, you can pick a can up at almost any bike dealer.

Yeah, thats what I want to try. I looked at autozone and all they had was the tub.. not like a clay bar, more like original turtle wax.
That's paste not liquid...that's all!

I'd been using Meguires Gold Class paste... GREAT stuff... but all the shops up here stopped carring it... so I bought some of the Tech wax liquid... didn't really notice a diffrence between the two... that's a GOOD thing...

on a side note... I did start using the Meguires detail spray... worked really well... cleaned up alot of built up wax marks from the previous owner... and some sticky crap left from stickers on the windshield.

I've been using Tech wax for about a year now. I don't use it as much because I discovered plexus a long time ago. I use Plexus before every ride. Plexus takes out those swirl marks very nice. I use it w/ a buffer. But6 the Tech wax is the best I've tried, and I've tried a lot! I'll throw a coat on it once a monte usually. But before Plexus I did it the night before evrytime I went on a long ride. I'd use Meg. quick detailer and then go over it w/ tech wax. great stuff. I also use these. ($6 terry cloth in the pic). Nothing else will touch the bike!!

I'm really not. i've had it for a while and it's past the pimp out stage. Those terry cloths are where it's at. Highly recommend them to every one. i have four of them. Here's the trick. You have to wash them first. And when you dry them, you need to put in JUST ONE dryer sheet and dry until they are dry. They'll come out soft as ****. Now you can clean the bikey. I have two for the initial wipedown/wheels and two for waxing/polishing detail. Never use the one you just cleans your wheels with on your plastics. It's taken a while to come up with this plan but it's golden!

I got a whole meguires wax/cleaning kit for xmas that I haven't used yet. The R1 will be getting a full wax job as soon as the weather warms up, along with the truck, and car. I ran out of plexus last year, so a can of that will be bought soon.
