They had one set up in a construction zone around here a while ago. Worked just fine 222km/h speedo said around 225 so it wasn't that far off.

Disclaimer (for all you do-gooders out there) - this was at around 9:00 at night, so nobody was still there working, and i did do a drive-by pass first to see if anybody was there (mainly checking for cops  ). It was a good spot too, right at the end of a pretty long straight.

Over 99MPH, but I don't know if it's Photoshop.
That mobile sign has a wide digital screen, so it's probably not a photoshop.
All the mobile speed signs I passed on the bike picked me up, however if I was in a far left lane or way over away from the radar gun, it wouldn't pick me up.

What alot of people don't know is that they are there more for statistics than anything. With that in mind... I rememeber back in the day when I was in high school. The city use to put one up at various places. Then a few months later they would post the statistics. We would all meet up and brag at which one of us got what statstic on which street. Like top speed and such...

Also, you cannot get a ticket based on these signs either.
SOOOO NOT TRUE!!! In Georgetown, KY right before I moved to PA, they set one up next to my house. This one looked like a normal mobile speed sign, however once you passed it and if you were speeding it had a camera in it which took a picture of your license plate number. They issued tickets all the time with it. It's just like those camera's you see at stop light intersections.

I went by one twice yesterday and it flickered a couple times. I stayed consistant in speed but it would not post up a stable Number. By the time I was withing 50 yards it was out. I would say this did not pick me up.

On my way to Pittsburgh yesterday its road construction on the turnpike almost the whole way there. I had most of them get me, however some were off on speed, and some were about right on. I always hit the signs on a one lane so of course it was going to pick me up....however when you get one on a 3 lane road the vehicle on the far left usually doesn't get hit with it.

did you guys ever hear about this phaser 2 car radar jammer. maby someway you could get one to work on a street bike
I've heard mixed stories on this device...Ya know how the label says void if removed. Well a small shop opened one up a few years ago, and all that was in there was a blinking LED...I don't know how true this is tho.

Besides a cop knows if you are going 60 vs. 160.

I use my top of the line Radar detector (Escort Passport 8500) that keeps me out of many tickets.
