Tonight i was on my way home, one stoplight from my turn...
In the turn lane on the opposite side sits a cobra, he gets the turn light and does a 180 in the intersection and takes off.. K so i'm not going straight home thats obvious.
I get the light and get up towards him, next light is red... we get side by side and he is reving his engine, u can hear the supercharger whine....I just sit there, thought about revving but didnt. But hand is on the throttle ready to rock. Light goes green, he thinks flooring it will get him in front, he gets smoke and some wheel spin.. then after he's almost behind my periphal vision he gets moving...One wheel and what 30 ft later its time to shift... i go though 4 gears and look back hes like a 1/8mi behind me...
My launch was obut perfect, coulda put it off the line a lil harder but i got a touch of spin of the line.
Then the other exciting part of the story, a damn mid 90's taurus changes lanes in front of me when i look back forward... left me half a lane to pass her going 110 or so while she was moving in front of me... That was a second adrnealine rush, prob more then the 350+HP cobra gave me.
Next light, the cobra guys catch up 25 seocnds or so later as my light goes green, i look over to see what they are doing... Thumbs up form all three in the car...amazing a Ford fan who got stomped given me probs... thats rare... All to cool of a day esp after a 600RR honda goes " Dude is that a 1000" when he sees how much easier my wheelies are then his. gotta love probs on the Nakid bikes performance from a SS rider.

replace probs with Props in both usages of it....my bad.

great story SSUNR :thumbs: I have a similar one... just replace the COBRA with a WS6 T/A. ditto the thumbs up the and props.

Hell yeah!! i love when cagers try and mess with bikes. It's even more fun when a dude has his girl in the passenger side, then you smoke him, and u just know she's yelling at him.. WTF were u thinking!! :lol:

The guys friends tell all their own friends aobut how the guy got beat and was never an inch ahead...

But yeah the stories are always good even when u know youll spank em

And the WS/6 TA .. i had a guy in one go by the opposite way trying to rev and hsow off... wanted ot turn around and dust him but had stuff to go home and do like eat dinner.....

theres a Lambogini in town i wanna race but the cars RARELY on the road.. only time i saw him out was during the break in period so i couldnt.
Nothing would be as cool as beatign the 2004 200K$ car. But id be halfway scared... have ot end the race at aobut 140 so i didnt get passed...lol

I usually don't get that lucky! Ask DJ, when we were rolling the circuit in PA I tried to race about anything that had 4 wheels and nobody would bite!! Not even a few Stangs... it sucked!!! But I've been there and even smoked a few Z28's and such on the h/w...it's definately a rush!!

my favorite ones to take are the kids driving the "fast and furious" rides. Any of them. Pick one but every kid that has one thinks he's the sh#!. Sometimes I just laugh and do nothing and let them take off looking rediculous but sometimes.........depending on my mood...I end up being the one laughing while I wait for them at the next light!!

yeah, theres no reason to race any car, its mostly for thier own good, but sometimes they dont know better.

my fave is when you casually ride along side them whille they slam gears and chirp tires thinking they have a chance... but when they notice you didnt even bother to tuck, THEN they know.

I had some lady in an F-150, today, think she was going to pass. She's going slow, I pass on the RIGHT (two lane interstate) and she strarts to creep over the center line as I'm passing. I'm like :wtf:

A little blip of the throttle and she was nowhere. :flush:

cars that dont want ya to pass suck....
that and the twisty roads that are 10 miles and 2 turnouts and the damn car wont use em... i wanna throw stuff at em, most fun place ofr a bike and they gotta ruin it. Theres a REALLY good road here... 12 miles.. one stright and 3 or 4 turnouts.. takes bout 10-15 minutes and more in traffic.... its a bike road everyone in the area rides but stupid cars try to limit em... it sucks cuz u end of with piussed bikers passing at 70 in a blind corner just to get by... ppl die on that road cuz 1st: cars dont wanan extend curteousy and 2nd: Bikers get impatient and get stupid and pass on the blindest of corners.
