Mopeds..would you ride one as frequently as you would your bike?

Reason I ask ..is that I was driving home from work last night and this moped was infront of me..puttering along....and it was a very nice moped....

But I was thinking...there is no way Ill ever ride one of those...(unless it was an emergency situation and it was the only option):lol:

I had one when I was in High School- it was embarrassing back then. Not to mention, it was a death trap. People get frustrated waiting on you, especially taking off from a stop light. VERY EMBARRASSING. :leaving: I'd ride a bicycle first. Their faster. LOL

sure! Why not. I loved my Mooooped when I was a kid. Had a Honda Spree my Pop's bought me, then I went to an Elite. That sucker could hit 65 mph. But would I trade it for my Mistress, HELL NO!

Heck, if I had the cash flow, I'd purchase myself a Vespa just to put put around on.

My first ride was an M-65 Harley moped...it was a 60's model...Then I got the HD M-50 with the shifter on the left handle bar. About 1969, my dad bought us the mini trail 70 honda...I had a Suzuki 50, Express, I think it was, just a few years ago...it had "saddle baskets" and a basket in the handle bars...It would haul my big butt with 2 cases and a 12 pack about 30 mph...:lol:

I consider the mopeds of today a scooter. If it doesn't resemble a Sport Bike (pocket bike) I'm not ridding unless its an emergence.
