Something really needs to be done about this terrorist crap because it's getting ridiculous. What are all of your thoughts on how to end it?

And I honestly don't think, "nuke 'em all" will work because we will just continue to piss off someone else and they'll start pulling the same crap. But at the same time, we certainly can't give into their demands when they're pulling crap like this. If they would just come to the bargaining table, then maybe we could work something out. Of course, they can't come to the table saying things like, "we'll stop bombing if..." because that's basically what they're doing now. It needs to be something like, "we agree to let you have...if you agree to let us have..." Unfortunately, I don't think we can ever get them to the bargaining table. Although, I don't think I've seen anyone actually TRY.

The problem here is...they want us dead...We are infidels, non muslims, and their sole focus is to kill or convert all infidels to Islam. Their ultimate goal is for the planet to be governed by Islamic law, and for the clerics to make and decide policy. I posted, in another forum, a rather long essay I have been working on about this topic. I was replying to some rather short sighted people who feel we should remove all of our troops from the middle east area and then we would be left alone. I'll see if I have the disk here...

You can't please everyone. The way I see it is..they are coming over here to the states, and England killing innocent people. Well granted not all iraqies are involved, there are innocent people over there also. Pay back is a beotch. I don't know what the answer is but all I know is we gotta sacrifice something because we simply can't please everyone.

By "invading" the area, we were able to break open organizational and training mechanism...They had protection and financial backing from "governments" in the area and operated actual training facilities. We disrupted that system and they are trying to regroup and re-organize. Since they are fugitives...they cannot set up stable facilities for training/recruitment. Hopefully, "on the run" they will make mistakes that will make them easier to identify and "neutralize"

Actually to some aspects....I agree with him...to others I dont. I honestly believe its NEVER going to end...no matter what country does what. And then there's the trial for Sadam about to start....makes you wonder what might happen when that begins...or ends.....or during the whole process!?!?! Again I stated that its all about WHO has the power and who doesnt...and WHO is hungry enough for it.

Peace would be nice....however in this state of the world, I dont believe its ever going to ever happen, nor do I believe there will ever be a balance in the world....there will always be good and there will always be evil....sad to say, but that's just the way it will always be! :sw:
