yeah ok, get my behind off the seat running stock crapadam tires..uh NO THANKS !!! There's more pics that I havent loaded up yet that show me getting lower than those, but I wasnt pushing it too far. My tires are OK, but not the best, and certainly nothing Im gonna drag a knee with too often unless I really have too. Dont have THAT much confidence in them. When I get the new Metzlers or Pilots, then yeah I'll go over alot farther..but even w/ those stock tires on my Kat, I only have about an 8th of an inch of chicken strips left.

some rented cabins and other stayed at the inn.

I guess what confuses me is... where is your TWF gear? :tt:

I know it was a Katriders event, but c'mon?! I thought you'd be representin'. :disapp:

I agree. However, in Matts defense. I ordered our TWF shirts in plenty of time for the Carlise Bike show and his trip to the Gap and i am still waiting for them to come. I even got a survey yesterday asking me about my experience with my recent purchase. Well to be honest, I am not to happy with it since I am still waiting on it. :disapp:

Matt...you need to get your behind off the seat... :D

Also, did somebody rent a cabin down there?

Sometimes easier said than done Gas. My Corbin seat on my RC is awsome, only fall back is it makes it difficult to get off the seat. Next years Gap trip I may put the stock seat on for a day and see if it helps. Should make it much easier to move off the seat on the bike. But make it uncomfortable to sit on for a days worth of riding.

PS: Someone should tell Faze that one of his headlights is burnt out! KIDDING!!! I hate it when people tell me that because my lows are on and only use 1 light. :bash:

Yeah yeah, I got your hero right here!!!! No thanks, I'll get nice and low as I can on the stock barracuda's but I aint draggin no knees on a regular basis w/ stock tires. Seen too many lowslides and slip outs on them. Even saw one down at the gap while we were there too. Thats not to say that I havent gotten off the bike before, but I dont like doing it w/ crappy tires.

See, its DJ's fault I didnt have a TWF shirt for the gap, all his!! blame him shan!

Actually, hanging off is to achieve LESS lean angle with the bike... therefore would be safer for shifty tires :D Draggin knee is just a by-product of leaning to the inside, which is all done to give the entire package a lower center of gravity. :)

yeah I know, Im just not comfortable hanging off the bike w/ low quality tires. Its not that I cant do it, I'd just rather not unless I end up coming into a corner too hot and I have no other choice.

Get some pilot powers on that Kat Mr Matt.... you'll be VERY happy.

And POD put it perfectly...

And Ace is right...the Corbin's are well known for long distance comfort and hindering gettin off the bike...

Had a chance to buy a corbin down at the rally..one of the members brought it along to sell it, but I didnt have enough cash with me...another member bought it and loved. He had rode up from Tampa to ride w/ us that week.

Yeah yeah, Pilots or Metzler..cant decide.. decisions decisions. The main reason I consider the Metz. is because they work so well on a Kat, and are very versatile, and can be had for a VERY good price.
