Theres a guy at my apt complex with a GSXR1000 and he parades it around the parkinglot shirt open smoking a cigarette revving the hell out of it. If he wants to keep it warm just take it for a ride! Hes a squid. And so are his friends.

As much as I hate to say it...I see more and more squids on gixxers then any other bike. Have you ever seen the guy take it out and really ride it or does he just stay ther in the complex?

Well, I've seen them on various bikes, but I think the most common is the gsxr. Although, that might have something to do with them being cheaper than other bikes and highly advertised.

around my area its the gsxr , r6 ,and the cbr, :twfrox:
I think the R1's are on the rise. I seen 2 that shouldnt be allowed on the road. One was riding a brandnew one in 20 degree weather. It had a paper plate so he must have just got it. That was on monday and then last week I saw another the stalled it twice trying to beat my 6 off the line. I love squids.
Theres a kawi suzi dealer here that sells bikes for way cheap. They will do anything to get you on a bike (wether you can make the payments is you problem). But squids practically live there. I went to look at the new zx6r and packs of teens were walking around sitting on all the bikes and asking whats fastest. They came to the Mladin replica even after explanation, didnt understand who he was or what the AMA is. Thats the majority of whos buying bikes here... :nonod:

Most of the squids I see are on Ninjas. Usually have a pipe that's heavily scratched. At the dealer, they ask which one is easiest to wheelie.

I had this debate a while ago on the WOS yahoo board.
For good cause, most squids ride GSXR's with garbage D&D slip ons. Good reason because up until the last few years the GSXR's were dominating. So they bought what was popular. Definately more Squids on GSXR's than anything else!!!

No I wouldn't say that. Twisty isn't a squid and he's on a GSXR, most of the time, and a R6 now!
It is just that it is the most common squid bike! Heck it's one of the most common bikes period! How many GSXR 1Ks do you see at a bike night!! TONS!!!
