:lol: would it be possible to motard a xr 600? and what would it take? my buddies sellin a xr 600 that is street legal, what would it take to motard it? i was thinking about doing away with knobbies but does anyone sell street rubber that would fit on stock rims?... or am i insane for thinking this:whistle:

Actually, it is a pricy conversion.
Fork brace, fender, wheels, tire, breaks and few other odds and ends.
Duel Sports are a blast and handle surprisingly well with 90/10 street tires and maybe a fork brace.

going from a dirtbike to supermoto, im sure youd wanna stiffen a bit the suspension over the dirt set up too.. u should be able to do tubed street radials without new tires too, the supermotos run spoked rims just like a dirtbike, only thing may be that the rear COULD be too narraow a rim for the right size street tire.. but check it. that would be the two biggest things to get ya started for fairly cheap.... then worry aobut additional mds as u figure out how to ride motard style.

nice site, so he wants 1000 for a 1993 i am assumeing XL 650, but my friend thought it was a 600, im gonna go look at it this weekend, would i still need to get a brace even if it is the xl series? and does 1000 sound about right? and i kno :nopicsbs:

1K$ if the motor is in good shape and suspension is also is a pretty good deal.

what is the differrence between a XR 650 and a XL 650 or a XR 650l and a XR 650r???? thanks
