They seem to work well If your truck can handle the tail weight.
Make sure to use ratchet type straps.
I saw a R1 nearly fall off last weekend before the guy could get stopped. :yikes:
The pull straps cant handle the straight up & down load. :nonod:

Thanks Jeeps! yeah that was my biggest fear is to have it fall off in the middle of the highway and cause a pile up.

Upon initial inspection, my suv & trailer hitch specs were good to go. But, I'm definitley gonna buy extra ratchet straps just to be safe.

Ratchet straps are the only way to go!

:welcome:

Also, I don't like them... just don't look sturdy or trust worthy. Not too mention, you don't want to think about what would happen if somebody rear-ended you!!! :yikes: :bash:

We don't use ratchet straps for any of our bikes or even recommend them to our customers. Unless you buy really nice ones, they tend to fail by springing open. The other problem is people tend to over-tighten their bikes down using the ratchet straps.

As for the moto-tote, it's a good product. A lot of track days guys have them to get their bikes to the track.

P.S. That is a great deal they are running right now, as well. We sell them for $469, and I'm not even sure that includes the ramp. They are having some spring special on moto-tote's site. I'd grab that while you can!!!!

Yeah it looks like it might work but I guess I'd rather do in a good ole truck!

That would be the preferred method, my next vehicle will be a P/U truck. Preferably the new Toyota 4x4 Tacoma double cab.....they're so frikin sweet.
