Don't understand the search with the nhtsa site. Are you supposed to enter the vin as search code?
no... they assign a number to each recall... so if you know the number you can search quickly...

if you look to the right of that you can search...

but I noticed they didn't have Kawasaki listed... guess that means they just do things right the first time

Wel... it was a kickstand spring from 2005... shouldn't effect anything cause it is from 2005 and ew all know that a bike can't leave the factory or dealer without having everything fixed..

Well I found out that that particular thing was only on the early early 2006 models built in 2005. That has long sense been fixed. BDM is very good at fixing everything that even remotely becomes a problem.

Last year there were some problems with the clutch not grabbing if you increased your hp. They found out the problem was due to a lighter clutch spring. They issued a SB (service Bullitin) and got all of them replaced regardless if you were having any problems with yours or not!

Nice... no recalls for mine!! :willy:

Kinda suprised me though, the new Goldwings had 2 recalls, one of which was for the frame welds cracking :yikes:
