For someone who is wanting to carry there own tools to work on there bike or can have them handy for a frien that can work on it for them...what tools would you recommend someone have at all time with the bike?

the wrenches that fit the bolts on your bike, a phillips and flat screwdriver, and a tire air pressure gauge. Basically the tools that come with the bike. Although these would be for me, no one else works on my bike.

Do you mean above the tool kit it comes with?

I know on my 9R... the big ones would be a 8 & 10mm wrench, phillips driver, and a cresent for everything else.

Along with the tool kit that comes with the bike. You might want to upgrade some of the wrenches with quality one. I would also recommend a Tire Repair Kit and First Aid Kit. The cell phone makes a handy tool also.

That's what I think more and more about. I don't want to carry all this crap... that's why I pay for AAA Gold Member Plus RV... will tow my bike, truck, car, RV, trailer, truck & trailer... flatbed, standard...ect.... up to 100 miles per run all for free (minus my yearly membership fee of $72)
