GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Two men died after separate motorcycle accidents in the Upstate this weekend.
The first happened in Spartanburg County on Buck Creek Road at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Troopers said a Boiling Springs man was riding a Yamaha motorcycle when he lost control in a curve, ran off the road and hit a tree.
The 25-year-old man, whose name was not released, was taken to Spartanburg Regional Hospital where he later died.
A motorcycle crash Saturday on Flatrock Road in Greenwood County killed a man from Hodges.
Investigators said James Rusell Waldrup, 43, was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle when he drove off the road and flipped several times.
Waldrup was thrown from the motorcycle and died from his injuries, troopers said.
Troopers said the drivers of both motorcycles were wearing helmets.
Do you think, perhaps, speed had anything to do with these??
