my bike met the pavemet yesterday

i let my friend ride my bike (not the BMW guy but my other friend) and he dropped it goin like 10 MPH and it sux...........im not that mad actually idk why but it scrapped uop my fairing a lil (not to nad at all) i need a new slip on ....... and it snapped my shifter right off so i need a new one......and took about 1/8 inch off the frame slidder :cry: :sob: but all in all maybe 50$ in repair :skep: somewere around that ..... but i dont think i am goin to fix it exept for the shifter ...... b/c you cant really see the scratch on the fairing unless you look close



my friend was all righ.... he just has a TINNY patch of rode rash on his arm (and a hole in his sweatshirt lol)

its all good though .... he likes it and might get one soon lol he was doing real good ...... he tired to open it up a lil and hit about 50 and said it was cool then he went to turn around and come back to were i was and hit some dirt or something and plow over the bike went :sob:



only thing i am bummed about is i cant ride very good b/c no shifter......just the actual pice were your foot goes on broke so it is ridable just not to fun :lol: :lol: :lol: oh well i thiought i would share that

That sucks big time. I hope you learn a lesson from this painful experience. Only my best friends get to sit on my bike knowing that they'll pay for hundreds of dollars of damages if they drop it but absolutely NOBODY rides my bike. Don't forget to check your frame slider bolt too because it could be bent/stripped even at low speed slides.

btw, what bike do you ride?

Fix it all up like it was before and send him the bill!!!! He wants to ride he takes the same financial risk as you do right... so buy some sato rearsets! :thumbs:

Does suck bull but i knew this thread was coming. :lol:

That sucks man. I won't let anyone that I know who "thinks they can ride" ride my bike. I won't even ride theirs. The guy I know that races wants to ride the R6 and I told him NO way! I think he got offended thinking that I insulted his riding abilities. :scratch:

Lesson well learned for the next time.... I had that happen a long time ago on a different bike of mine, and thats precisely why nobody rides my bike except me.

Only 2 people get to ride my $$$$$ bikes.
That's because I know they will take care of any damage if needed.
They let me ride their bikes as well and expect the same from me. :2cents:

I do on accession let others that I know ride the lesser value bikes if I know they can ride. :crazy:
I still expect the same reasonability from them also but, could live with it if I was never to get paid.
I can find other methods of payment. :bthorse:
