My new exhaust hanger

Well, I wanted to get rid of the passenger pegs, but the right side peg is also the exhaust hanger. I had searched on eBay several different times but could only find a hanger for the 02 and below R6 (they have them now, but they're over $40). So I decided to make my own. I bought a stock passenger peg/exhaust bracket off eBay and my brother cut off the peg mounting section (I wanted to keep mine in case I ever change my mind about taking passengers). I then cut the bottom off so there would just be one smooth line at the bottom. Next came a little sandpaper and bondo to fill in the cut marks. Then some primer and paint. No more passenger pegs!!

Here's a pic.

Funny, I recently did the same thing! I need to polish it up a bit but I'm super happy with the results.
It's not about weight, it's about a more streamline look. When you pull off the left rear peg/bracket, it would look kinda funny if you left the right rear peg on there.
