Not just an old saying for me!! I grew up riding horses.... love them, but im allergic. I still ride though! I see that saying as more for the horse than the person, but i see what you are saying. Will be on the dirtbike next weekend! It's getting too cold for the street anyways.... good time for the dirt though! Picked a good time to trash my bike, i guess... i have all winter to work on it (and learn more about motorcycles), WINTER PROJECT!! Something to do all winter... YAY! And always interested in learning more about bikes.

Well, as far as timing, you're right! There is nothing worse than woding up ur MC in like June or July!!!!
