I know the names of bikes often change between countries (i.e. a Honda Hawk is called a Revere in Aust!), so I don't know what this may have been called in the States!

This bike looks like one an Ex of mine was looking at some time ago. The unfortunately-named "Suzuki Intruder" The sales brochure went on to describe the "Macho Exhaust note".

We didn't buy it! Now I think I know where it went!!

not a savage. Doesnt look like even an ancient intruder. the bike looks like a '70's to '80's GN 125/ GN 250. But the seat looks like a GZ 250 seat and the motor doesnt look like either. Unless that motor predates any picture ive ever seen. oh well, i still say an old Suzuki GN.

Yikes. I remember in the early 80's when bikes like that were popular. Honda Customs, Kawasaki LTD's, Suzuki L models, and Yamaha Specials. The hand grips on most of them were actually vertical. I guess so your hands could be at the ten and two o'clock position. I don't miss any of them.
